BRONCO IS BACK

Since seeing one on an episode of Fast N Loud I fell for the original Bronco. I must have always been aware of it but never really looked at it properly. Unlike the 110’ s and Defenders my judgement of the Bronco remains so innocent as I have never actually been in one let alone driven one so in my head they are as perfect to drive as they are to look at where in sharp contrast a long weekend in a Defender and I am happy to swap it out for pretty much anything. My height does not help neither does my desire to drive fast.

So just as the new Defenders start to hit the streets in the UK Ford drops this Bronco bombshell. It will be inevitable that the Defender and Bronco will be compared, contrasted and no doubt put in to competitions by critics the world over. For me I liked the initial press images of the Defender, especially the interior but after seeing a few 110’s on the road I am far less enthusiastic. Its bloody big and the proportions don’t seem quite right. I am yet to see a 90 and to be fair I have always favoured the look of the smaller wheel base cars so I will reserve complete judgement. Right now its hard me to manage the Bronco will be anything other than perfect an I am completely sold. I have no idea how I can get one but the cogs are already turning!
